Outpatient Treatment & Recovery Services

Beyond Addictions clinical staff members provide customized, confidential care for our clients based on proven addiction treatment methods. Personalized plans are developed to assist clients in successfully accomplishing their individual goals. We offer outpatient treatment and other programs to maximize the potential for ongoing recovery with long term abstinence from alcohol and drugs.

We provide two distinct outpatient tracks; one based on the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, and the other with discussion groups based on cognitive behavioral therapy.

Group Therapy

Group therapy facilitated by our experienced clinical staff is an integral aspect of outpatient treatment.

Group Counseling

Individual Counseling

Individual counseling is offered to further customize care and assist clients in progressing through stages of change.

Educational Lectures

Educational lectures are offered to provide information about addiction-related topics, so the client and family come to a full understanding of addictive disease.

Continuing Care

Continuing care is offered weekly after the initial course of outpatient treatment to help insure abstinence and provide ongoing support and fellowship for the client’s journey into recovery. Continuing care is a key component to an individual’s success.

Relapse Prevention and Intervention

Unique to Beyond Addictions is the ability to provide a Complex Home Visit to address the potential for relapse. A Counselor and Nurse can visit you in the comfort of your home or hotel room. This new option provides another resource for successful recovery.

Beyond Addictions also has a Relapse Prevention Workshop that is open to the public.

Professional Monitoring

Health care professionals and pilots have the highest recovery rates recorded, above 90% clean and sober at one year, primarily because they are required to have long- term treatment with monitoring of their condition. We provide these monitoring services for anyone who may need to assure their employer or others of their efforts and their abstinence. This is a customized program involving outpatient treatment, psychotherapy, monitoring of recovery activities, and urine drug tests.

Pharmacologic Interventions for Alcoholism

Addiction is a disease of the brain, and new medications developed from understanding brain functioning can help some people stay clean and sober. We will evaluate your condition and determine a plan that could include a combination of medications with group and individual therapy.

Buprenorphine Maintenance

Buprenorphine is a prescribed medication used to help people remain free of opioids such as heroin and prescribed pain medications. Beyond Addictions offers a treatment program for opioid addicts using Buprenorphine and outpatient treatment for one year. Buprenorphine prevents the ongoing use of opioids while the individual develops the tools necessary for successful recovery from addiction.

Family Services

Typically the whole family suffers from the effects of addiction. The family system has been under tremendous stress leading to a breakdown of healthy coping. Family members often feel isolated and alone when their loved one has active addiction. Families can also feel left out of the recovery process. We involve family members early in the treatment experience which plays a vital role in the healing of the whole family.

Family Group

Family group is a weekly support/process group providing information and support for family members.

Family Group

Individual Counseling

One-on-one counseling is provided to address issues related to family problems.

Family Therapy

Individual psychotherapy for more than one family member allows for in depth examination of family dynamics at any point in the recovery process.

Mental Health Services

Many people with alcoholism and drug addiction also have other mental health problems ranging from anxiety disorders and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder to bipolar disorder. Our psychiatrists and psychologists know addiction and other problems that can undermine sobriety. Whether you have been sober for years and need help with depression or you can’t stay sober because you’re too anxious to attend group meetings, we can provide the services to help you out.

Psychiatric or Psychological Evaluations

These are diagnostic evaluations that will determine if you have a mental health problem and establish solutions to address it.

Psychotherapy

Individual sessions for specific mental health problems can occur with our Psychiatrist or Psychologist.
