Beyond Addictions offers safe detoxification from drugs and alcohol in the comfort and privacy of your home or hotel room. While detoxing we want you to be as stress- free as possible in a low-stimulation environment. For most, that means in the comfort of your own home. For others, home may have significant stressors or stimulation, so the uncluttered peace of a hotel room may be the best venue. Personal and professional responsibilities that can not be attended to during traditional residential treatment no longer need to be obstacles to recovery. In-home/In-hotel detoxification only takes a few days, so it is less of a disruption in your life. Around-the-clock individual monitored care by Certified Nurse’s Aids or Nurses is provided while you safely detoxify. We will customize your detoxification and recovery services to your specific needs. When you have safely completed your In-home or In-hotel detoxification, our recovery team will be available to guide you and your family with customized outpatient treatment services.

Detoxification using Buprenorphine/Suboxone

Opioid Detoxification may be a result of physical dependence or addiction. Physical dependence is a natural consequence of using opioids for an extended period of time. It is not addiction, but can be mistaken for it. Physical dependence includes tolerance to the effects of the medicine which requires higher doses to get the same pain relief. It also involves withdrawal symptoms which can prevent people from being able to discontinue use of the medication. Those with physical dependence need detoxification, but limited services once they are off the pain medication. Addiction, on the other hand, includes tolerance, withdrawal symptoms, excessive attempts to secure more medication, loss of control of medication use, and continued use of the medication despite adverse consequences. Addiction requires detoxification and customized addiction treatment services.

We provide Buprenorphine for opioid detoxification which can be done in your home, a hotel room, or in our office. Those dependent on opioids such as pain medication or heroin can come in for an evaluation to determine if they have physical dependence or addiction. A treatment plan will be developed and we will help you get off the medication in the safest, smoothest way possible, using Buprenorphine.

You may choose to watch movies, read, listen to music, or just relax.
