June 4, 2008 - Dr. Seppala will be one of the expert panelists at Oregon Partnerships' "Parenting for Prevention."

"Parenting for Prevention" will take place on Wednesday, June 25, noon-1:30pm, at Montgomery Park. The expert panelists, including Dr. Seppala, will provide information on what you can do to keep your kids away from alcohol and drugs. This event is $25, and includes lunch and parking. May 14, 2008 - Beyond Addictions' Medical Director and CEO, Dr. Marv Seppala--speaker at the Alcohol and Drug Addiction Forum in Lake Oswego, Oregon

On Tuesday, May 13, 2008, Dr. Seppala was a speaker at the alcohol and drug addiction forum at Lake Oswego United Methodist Church.

The forum recieved a large community response and addressed questions about alcohol and drug treatment, prevention, and what the community can do to help.

Those in attendance were able to hear about addiction from four really good perspectives. Speakers joining Seppala included: Judy Cushing, President and CEO, Oregon Partnership; John Foote, Clackamas County District Attorney, as well as two high school students.
